Tong-to-Handle Cable, One Piece

This one-piece (full-length of the arm) cable connects the master-side hand to the slave-side tong, enabling the gripping feature of the manipulator. Cable lengths are not standardised in this manufacturer’s models, so please attach your cable length and serial number in the provided field during check-out.
All of our cable crimps are tested to 100 pounds of pull before being shipped.
Two-piece tong-to-handle cables, one of EMW’s quality-of-life improvements on the original design, are also available and recommended to reduce maintenance efforts. In a master/slave split configuration, a slave tong-to-handle cable will outlast the master tong-to-handle cable, allowing for less manipulator pulls and less downtime.
